Modern Craftsman

This light-filled Austin craftsman had the perfect bones to create an interior our clients would fall in love with. New to the city, they dreamed of transforming this home to fit their work + play with doggie lifestyle.

We started with simple upgrades including a level 5 skim coat throughout, fresh white walls, and a kitchen facelift which included zellige backslash, simplified shaker cabinet fronts, two toned cabinets, and brass hardware. The star of the home would be a newly designed built-in wall shelving system, upholstered storage bench and marble fireplace mantel.

Furnishings allowed us to extract the couple’s personality and create a space that was comfortable, functional, and luxurious..without being stuffy. We partnered with local craftsman and our favorite furniture makers throughout the US. The result is a beautiful blend of texture, color, ease, and sophistication.
